Its important feature is short supply cycle, not limited by equipment shape, and can be directly used as a refractory material without pre calcination, loose mixture, and suitable anchoring components formed and baked on site. Castable: It is a non adhesive mixture composed of aggregates, fine powders, and binders. Castable materials are usually delivered in a dry state, and water or other liquids are added during construction to obtain molding conditions. Construction is carried out through pouring. After the castable is formed, it needs to undergo a period of curing to obtain a certain strength, and then it is baked to be suitable for use. According to the different construction methods and material fluidity, castables can be divided into the following types:
1. Vibration molding castable: The fluidity of raw materials is poor, and mechanical vibration is required to make the mud flow to fill the model; 2. Self flow molding castable: The raw material has good flowability and can be filled with the model through the action of gravity; 3. Pumped castable: Pumped castable is sometimes also known as pumped castable. This type of castable has good flowability and anti segregation performance, and can be transported remotely to the construction site using a mud pump, and the raw materials can fill the model well.

Binders include calcium aluminate cement, water glass, ethyl silicate, polyaluminum chloride, clay, or phosphate. Admixtures depend on their usage and their function is to improve construction performance and enhance physical and chemical properties.
